College Composition II Unit I Blog

My name is Evelyn, all of this is new to me. I hope that I have done this all correctly. We have started a blog for our class this term. I live in North Carolina. I have gone back to work since children have grown up enough to handle things on there own so I may be able to further my education also. I have a diabled husband with a back injury from a job an unable to return to any form of work due to the nerve damage in his back. He is unable to sit, stand, walk, or lying down for a long period of time without being in pain. So with that I went back to work in marketing doing Demenstrations for Wal-Mart products. I communicate with shoppers by introducing them to a sample of food or other product they may be interesting purchasing. It is a great opportunity to meet other people. I also returned backed to school after 25 years. I just thought with wanting to do something at home due to my husband eventually will be more dependent on me for taking care of him. I needed to work on something from home so I figured go back to school to learn Medical Transcriptionist. I would be able to do this process from home and be able to take of him. I have four children ages 21, 20, 17, and 15. The oldest is out on her own and my other three are still at home but able to take care of themselves that I was able to proceed with furture goal. My next blog I will talk more about what I would like as hobbies and what my interest in things besides learning as I am doing know and working on my part- time job as a Event Specialist.
